However, knowing how to get started; where to focus; and how to follow-up can be overwhelming. PANEL: Brand Awareness/Client Retention at Any Budget and Headcount

With the headcount and definition of a Small Firm ranging from solo practitioner to under 10, 20 or even 50 attorneys depending on who you ask, allocating scarce marketing dollars across channels and platforms will be prioritized differently. This discussion will center on how different sizes of small firms can increase brand awareness and strengthen client retention through LinkedIn, Facebook and PPC from the solo practitioner to those with a small support staff, to those on the cusp of mid-size who want to improve. This session will cover the strategies to fill the top of the funnel, driving the most qualified traffic to your social media and website – and then following through with automation that can do the heavy lifting of nurturing those leads into clients.

WORKSHOP: Selling Legal Services that People Actually Buy

It’s not that people don’t need lawyers. It’s that lawyers never learned how to create and market legal services that people actually want. Meanwhile, the technology sector has been rapidly developing ways to evaluate, test, revise and learn what it is people want. This workshop session will introduce lawyers to the methodologies of product development and marketing used by technology companies. Lawyers who attend will leave with concrete suggestions and plans for bringing client-centric legal services development to their practices.
